The MCI 2 is a universally applicable and intelligent data transmitter from the serial RS485 interface to the mobile phone network. With the MCI 2, it is possible to access deBus-based devices easily and without complex installation from any location. The MCI 2 is used when no local network is available, the integration of devices into existing networks is too cost-intensive or is not desired by the customer. A control input can be monitored or a potential-free control output can be activated via an additional interface. It guarantees comple-te flexibility in terms of installation location and installation effort. The data is transmitted in encrypted form via the deis-terCloud and can be received by the Commander Connect software. Decryption is carried out by the customer in the Commander using a hardware dongle. The MCI 2 therefore fulfils the highest security requirements. The customer-specific keys are stored on a masterCard and are distributed to the hardware dongle and MCI 2 during the commissioning process.
