The SNP 7 is a universal converter designed to convert RS485 to Ethernet. In addition, the SNP 7 can also be supplied with power utilizing the power over Ethernet standard.
With the SNP 7 it is easily possible to supply deBus-based devices with data via the Ethernet. It automatically detects all connected deBus devices, and it is able to retrieve their data automatically.
Integrated security features such as optional user authentication and optional TLS 1.2 encryption ensure the SNP 7 is able to satisfy the most stringent security requirements. In addition to IPv4 the SNP 7 already supports the IPv6 protocol, ensuring it is equipped to meet future challenges.
