The ISO-8 or ISO 8 CH panel with card holder for Lan-yards can be used in any flexx system to store security-relevant ID or access cards in ISO 7810 ID-1 format in a tamper-proof and clearly organised manner. If a user is authorised to remove a stored card via authentication at the terminal, this is signalled visually at the corresponding card slot. The card can be re-moved by the user by tapping on the card slot. When the card is returned, it is simply placed in the drawer provided after successful login and then completely closed by the user. This ensures that the card is protected against unauthorised re-moval at all times. One PRx I reader module is required per 4 slots if it is necessary to read the card number. This means that the latest HF reader modules can be used in a future-proof manner.
